What a journey we have had together since the first Zip Zap Cycle Tour annual fundraiser in 2017! Because of you all, we have achieved so many goals and made so many memories. Thank you for all that you have done for Zip Zap over the years.

Covid-19 has knocked us off the tightwire, and we are fighting to keep our doors open so that our kids can return to programmes later this year. With the Cape Town Cycle Tour going virtual this year, we have decided to use this opportunity, and mobilize our Cycle Warriors around the world, to generate some much-needed funds.

Every cent counts for us, and we would be extremely grateful if you could please jump on board our Zip Zap Cycle Warriors global-cycle and help us reach our target of R 100,000. The event has changed to suit the virtual challenge, and now you have between 1 – 31 March 2021 to complete your 109km from anywhere in the world – that’s only 3.63km per day, for those that still need to dust off their tyres and oil their brakes! 

As a Zip Zap Cycle Warrior, not only will you be investing in inspiring and empowering kids for life, but we would love to reward you for every milestone you reach. Cycle 54,5kms and receive a Zip Zap buff, cycle the full 109kms and receive a Zip Zap buff and exclusive access to view our Canal+ Family documentary Dare To Dream. You will have front row seats, in the comfort of your own home, to view over a period of 48 hours, which we imagine will be a great way to recover from the pain of spending 109km in the saddle, balancing on two wheels, in all sorts of weather conditions!
