S4J 2023 Children

What a privilege to have visited this amazing group of children in December 2022. They have walked eleven days to get to a place where they could stay and be educated. They come from an area where for decades there had been zero educational opportunities due to failed government ideology.

Things are definitely changing for the children. Although the facilities are far from perfect, they are determined to make full use of the educational opportunities presented to them now. They so strongly believe that being a first generation from their area undergoing basic school education now, it will have a lasting impact in having their area educated in years to come.

The S4J do want to work with the management team at the school to help with some really basic facilities like beds for the dormitories, and benches for the classrooms. Having visited the school recently, we have first-hand knowledge of what is needed and the ways to address those needs.

Ultimately we want to work with all involved at the school to help facilitate that these children would develop to their full created purpose and destiny. We want to help them compete on a world stage, because we believe that many among them have the potential to do just that, helping to improve their own lives, that of their family and nation.
