• Cause: PETS Empowerment in Cape Town Townships

Pet Empowerment in Townships consists of a group of volunteers who go into under resourced communities in some of our biggest townships, and works with the people of these communities to empower them to better care for their animals. Pets living in these disadvantaged areas do not have the same access to veterinary care that domestic pets receive. Pets also has a strong sterilization programme in the township as we believe the only way to curb the amount of unwanted animals being born into underprivileged areas is through sterilization. For this reason, our vet bills are extremely high. If you would like to assist to improve the life of an animal in the township please make a donation towards our vet bills so we can continue to provide them with the veterinary care they so desperately need.
