Help Austine Register Campaign
Hello, My name is Austine Mabula, a prospective third year BA Law student. Majoring in politics and law. I am originally from a very small village of Ga-sekgopo in Limpopo, where dreams are always followed with difficulty and access to proper education has always been a wish for most. But despite all that and the trials that came with growing up in an unprivileged environment, I managed to work hard enough to get into Wits university.
Law and politics have always been passions of mine and that was evident in all the things I found interest in since high school including debate. The reason for that is simply because I believe in my vision and mission for both the politics world and the law world which is to ensure that justice is always granted to everyone regardless of who they are.
To show and account for my passion, in the past 2 years at wits, I have not only excelled academically , I have also served into the house committee sub-committee, the Law student council sub committee, and have been class representative for the two years for two of my classes, sociology and anthropology. This goes to show my passion for assisting people where possible ensuring that equality and inclusion is achieved.
I am very passionate about what I am studying but I am unfortunately not able to register to study further for my final academic year(2024) due to NSFAS not paying for my fees fully in 2023, leaving me having an outstanding debt of R41 345,09. In order for me to register, I need to pay atleast 50% of the outstanding debt which is roughly around R21 000. I am writing this to ask you to please help me raise funds to atleast cover the 50% for me to be able to register. Your assistance is vital.
By helping me raise these funds, you’re not only supporting my education but also contributing to a dream that extends beyond myself. It’s about making a difference in my village, my family, and my future as an aspiring attorney. Any amount you can contribute is immensely appreciated and takes me a step closer to fulfilling my lifelong dream. Thank you for considering and supporting my journey.
