Subject: Supporting Our Neighbors in Their Time of Need: Fundraiser for Abigail Moyo and Her Siblings

Dear Donors / Community

I come to you today with a heavy heart and a plea for urgent assistance for my neighbor, Abigail Moyo, and her siblings.

On the morning of March 3, 2024, tragedy struck our community when Abigail's father, overwhelmed by circumstances we may never fully comprehend, took the life of their beloved mother before ending his own. The shock and devastation of losing both parents in such a horrific manner are unimaginable, leaving Abigail and her siblings grappling with profound grief and uncertainty.

In the wake of this unthinkable tragedy, Abigail, aged 22 and currently not working, along with her two younger siblings, Anita Moyo (approximately 9 or 10 years old, in grade 3) and Anele Moyo (approximately 6 years old, in grade 1), find themselves not only mourning the loss of their parents but also facing the daunting reality of financial hardship. Their older brother, Vuyile Moyo, aged 24, resides in Zimbabwe for university and is unable to provide direct support.

The funds to be raised are crucial for ensuring that the Moyo family can bury their parents with the dignity they deserve, and to provide for Abigail and her siblings in the difficult period following the funeral. Abigail is also in urgent need of employment opportunities so she can continue to care for herself and her siblings with the love and dedication they deserve.

This fundraising campaign aims to raise 50,000 rands to provide immediate relief to Abigail and her siblings, covering the costs of their parents' funeral arrangements and ensuring they have the necessary resources to sustain themselves in the months ahead. From funeral expenses to everyday necessities such as rent, utilities, groceries, and school fees, every donation will make a profound difference in their lives as they work to rebuild and heal.

Please consider extending your support to Abigail and her siblings during this incredibly challenging time. Your generosity will not only alleviate their financial burdens but also serve as a beacon of hope and solidarity in their darkest hour.

Thank you for your compassion, kindness, and willingness to stand with our neighbors in their time of need. Together, we can make a meaningful difference and provide comfort and support to those who need it most.

With heartfelt gratitude,

Alysha Sibande
